FSCL Wins 2nd Place at Annual Impact Prize at the Syracuse Blackstone Launchpad.
Syracuse, New York: On November 13, 2020, the Blackstone LaunchPad at Syracuse University Powered by Techstars announced the winners of the annual Impact Prize. FSCL, won second place in the Annual Impact Prize competition.
Sam Hollander, is the Founder, and CEO of FSCL. “Winning 2nd place in the 2020 Impact Prize means the world to us. This award validates not only our idea, but also our social-impact mission. We have the ability to alleviate the student debt crisis, and won’t stop till we get there. I’d like to thank our team, advisors, and mentors for your extraordinary work helping us to get to this point.” Hollander said.
The Impact Prize competition is an annual competition funded by a gift to the Blackstone LaunchPad at Syracuse University Powered by Techstars (‘LaunchPad’). The prize is made possible by gifts by SU Library Board Member Carl and Marci Armani in honor of Dr. Gay Culverhouse and Dr. Giesela VonDran. The program is run through the Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises (EEE) department at Whitman. The Panasci Business Plan competition awards a prize for first, second and third place.
Through the Impact Prize competition, two additional spotlight awards are granted to teams. These awards include the Inclusive Entrepreneurship Prize, as well as the Wild-Card room award.
